Red Hill has the benefit of an extraordinary background of Australia's varying landscapes which photograph quite nicely. This contemporary western of sorts is like a classic play in that it takes place in basically the coarse of a day. With a prison break, a convicted murderer is bent on revenge which is nothing new for a film's premise. It's interesting how a young officer will deal with a potentially bloody situation! Adequate!
