Ah, american drug dealers are actually "entrepreneurs". And it's about peace and love, eh? And they are so loveable! The stereotypes here are unbelievable. The mexicans are sadists and/or have the maturity of a 6 year old. The americans... well they're just all goodness, charm and light and some eye candy too! I can't believe Benicio del Toro agreed to be a part of this cliche. Salma Hayek was pure cheese and I'm afraid Blake lively IS pure cheese. The highlights were definitely Taylor Kitsch and John Travolta. It did seem Stone was trying to go Tarantino on us here, but he's just not that clever -intelligent, amusing or deep. There's plenty of gratuitous violence and it's pretty 2 dimensional but it was entertaining.
