The concept for this movie is certainly sick but intriguing - it makes you interested to see how it plays out. Kids being made to kill other kids in order to provide their districts food. I did not read the books, didn't even know they existed, and although it was a good movie, is definitely created more questions for me than it answered. I was confused overall and wondered how this movie could be considered to be PG13 considering all the kids who were killed. I think there should have been more backround regarding the "why" of the games, and perhaps more in depth character backround besides spotty and blurry flashbacks. I have no doubt there will be more of these movies and here's hoping they are somewhat better thought out.
