The Man on the Eiffel Tower

A terrific thriller directed and starring actor Burgess Meredith. With a hit man, Radek, (Franchot Tone) hired by Bill Kirby (Robert Hutton) to kill his rich aunt, the police zero in on the wrong man, a poor labourer who is a knife grinder. Once the law realizes their mistake and identify Radek as the murderer, the chase is on and it leads the police and Inspector Maigret on a roller coaster ride through Paris at headlong speed which ends up on one of the most famous sights in Paris. Not that well known a film worth a viewing.
