This re-make of the great 'The Winslow Boy' with Sir Michael Redgrave serves to show how something so inconsequential as stealing a paltry amount of pound notes can have the most horrific of ramifications. This is one remake that seems to stand as tall as its predecessor. The Terrance Rattigan play transfers beautifully to the medium of film.
