Big disappointment. Classic case of the entire budget and efforts on this movie spent on the CGI and computer generated effects. CGI was amazing, but too much. I was cross-eyed halfway through the movie and a bit annoyed. Weak story, the acting was mediocre and didn't explore the depth and dynamic of the conflicting characters. I love Jeff Bridges and he did what he could with the script. The kid was a little too self assured and his acting was a bit ego driven. Not a fan of the chick, hot... yes, but hollywood is over using her right now and I'm tired of her already, be nice to see her in something more challenging to see if she has the chops. The movie drag and never hit a strong heightened dramatic sequence that worked well. Nice to see Vancouver in the back drop of the "real-life" shots. Beautiful city. Skip Tron Legacy, maybe rent it if your a fan of the first.
