I didn't feel scared except in one part where a zombie popped out of nowhere. For the rest, this film was a bit boring. It's not anywhere as thrilling as 28 Days Later, as far as zombie movies go. It focused on Brad Pitt's character the entire way through so he pulled a little bit of a Tom Cruise there. It shows him being a good daddy, husband and all round nice guy instead of going into gory details. The story follows him from the USA to South Korea to Israel to Wales and then Nova Scotia as he tries to figure out a cure. It just seemed a weird way to tell a story. Apparently the books cover so many different stories and angles that adaptation to film didn't quite work. I think it's a renter.
