Muppets Most Wanted

The Muppets (2011) was an absolutely wonderful film that brought my favourite childhood characters back to the big screen. I loved that film so much that I bought the soundtrack and the movie after seeing the film four times in the cinema. So I guess you can say I was excited for the 2014 sequel. While not as great as the 2011 film, Muppets Most Wanted is yet another hilarious addition to the Muppet franchise. There were countless hilarious celebrity cameos and pop-culture references along with some extremely funny gags and jokes throughout the entire movie. This movie was very well written with constant laughs and a good story that both kids and adults will enjoy. All of the actors looked like they had a blast making this film. Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey were both great and all of the celebrities in minor roles did good jobs. Ty Burrell and Sam The Eagle were the highlight of every scene they were in and they were a great comedic duo. All of the puppeteers did fantastic jobs as their characters. The newcomer, Constantine, was very funny and was a worthy addition to the Muppets. The only problems I had with this movie were that there were not enough Muppets! Many of the classic Muppets were pushed to the side to make room for the human characters. This was unfortunate because it's a MUPPET MOVIE!!! Overall, Muppets Most Wanted is a fast-paced, hilarious and smart addition to the Muppet franchise. See it if you like The Muppets and like to laugh. RATING: 8.5/10.
