OH FOR GOD'S SAKE! Will someone ever film a remake without disgracing the original?! The original had me thinking from the first second and knocked me off my sofa at the end. This film simply entertained and did nothing to intrigue. Maybe I'm just suffering from a generation gap, here, but this film just didn't have the intellectual stimulation of the first one. Tim Burton, of all people, should know that you can't make up for lost intellect by using effects and action. It's just not the same. It's a shame, because the film did have potential. Go see it for the action and the visual effects; otherwise, if you're a die-hard intelligent sci-fi type, wait for the DVD. Oh, and, nice try with the ending there Tim, but no cigar. All I can say is that I hope they don't remake "The Omega Man" during my lifetime.
