This is a dreadful movie. I hated it. There are no redeeming qualities about it. The story is lame and certainly not accurate at all. Pass on this dud.

You have an odd scoring style. Half of your movies get a 3 or less, while the ones that you rate as a ten are generally not well received by the vast majority of movie-goers... My advise--Stop going to movies. As for this movie your comments are somewhat off-base. The process of cancer treatment was quite accurate. The on-screen chemistry was very strong with all of the main and secondary characters. Although I personally did not laugh, while I was at this movie there were many moments in the movie that moved the audience to laugh out loud or cry silently. Its rating is over EIGHT at the moment and I suspect these numbers will rise as people venture out to see this gem. You are entitled to your opinion, I am just pointing out what I see as a noticeable discrepancy in your ratings.
[...] It is a first hand account of the writer's struggle with cancer! Everyone has a different story... some people are strong and get through it, some are strong and don't. There are also people who are pathetic and weak who don't make it because they aren't strong enough and there are people who are weak and pathetic who do get through it somehow. To try to say there is only one way to go through or deal with Cancer is so freaking stupid! You must be 10 years old! Only reasonable answer! How [...] people are amazes me everyday!
