    Meek's Cutoff

It was painfully slow and the story was so boring. I was hoping something would happen but it never did. The only things that the movie had going for it was the scenery and how simple life was back in the day... they captured that very well. The sound of the wagon wheel eerily rolling on the plains of the land was probably the most annoying. If you like a good Western movie without John Wayne... go see it. My friend fell asleep a few times and we almost left, but it was the true western beginnings of exploring America in the early days. I wish it had a better ending. We kept expecting something to happen in the great wilderness on their journey but it was very slow moving.
