Cowboys & Aliens

I loved the cast, really enjoyed the Western feel, found the dialogue believable considering the situation of having aliens invading the wild west. Some folks will probably have a problem with aliens in the old west. To that I only can ask, is that because aliens invading in present day would be more realistic? If you can accept that to be equally as likely then I can't imagine anyone that likes action movies not enjoying this one at least a little. I thought the aliens looked cool, their reason for being there, just as good as any I've ever heard, and the ways of dealing with them every bit as plausible. Frankly, I think aliens would have had more trouble strolling around the old west since everyone was armed and more inclined to shoot first. Jon Favreau's directing was top notch as well. For those that like a little dark humour, you'll likely find more than a few good laughs in it for you. Best action movie in a while for me, and that's on the heels of Harry Potter and Captain America. More on par with Super 8 in my opinion.
