Doesn't have a point of view, Knows not where he's going to, isn't he a bit like you and me? Nowhere Boy gives us an explaination and a revelation regarding the origins of John Lennon's ( a splendid Aaron Johnson) poetic creativity. And the foregoing lines are a fine example of his many imaginative outpourings. We see that John's early life was an emtional rollercoaster with his aunt and his sister seemingly fighting for control of his life. Did this lead to the molding of his character and his soul? We find out the great influence of his mother -who taught him the banjo-and the tragedy of her sudden death. And the question is :Would John Lennon have been THE John Lennon without the nurturing and the love prooffered him by the two exceptional ladies in his early life? Would he still have been a star, if his mother had not left him so early?
