The Dark Knight is film making perfection. From the opening scene to the the closing the movies story pulls you in and keeps you there. The movie is over 2 1/2 hours long but it doesn't feel like it. The performances where superb all around. Buzz that the late Heath Ledger should receive a best supporting actor node is reasonable, he has created a brilliant take on what could become one of films most notable villains up with the ranks of Hannibal Lecter or Darth Vader. But I think this movie should be looked at for a best picture nomination. This is not some fan-boy hype this is a very grown-up picture, and I mean grown-up this is not a movie for small kids I felt intense and disturbed watching it, I'll probably feel intense and disturbed watching it the second time because this is a movie worth multiple viewings.
