In a 1949 crime drama, Richard Widmark pushed a wheel-chair-bound old lady down steep stairs. In this nasty effort, Jason Statham shoots an invalid 'friend' at point blank range thus establishing his psycopathic nature. At this point, I abandoned any respect for this film. Statham, all steely-eyed and glowering portrays the "classy" hitman. We know he's classy because he possesses a high-end stereo system, a classic lp collection and a gleaming vintage sportscar which is a work in progress. And many people are dispatched by various methods. The movie is nasty, brutish, but unfortunately not short. Rated "W' for worthless.
