    The Theory of Everything

The esteemed singer, Cher once sang: "If I could turn back time." Stephen Hawking's life work has been to try to understand the relationship between time, mass, the Big Bang and Black Holes. However, very little of this is examined in this movie. The film is all about love under very difficult circumstances. Eddie Redmayne is magnificent as the scientist who gradually withers away but who maintains the power of his astounding intellect which he uses to great effect, pushing back boundaries in the difficult field of cosmology. Felicity Jones also great as the dutiful but long-suffering wife. A highly emotional and sensitive work with great Oscar potential.
