This high adrenaline, fast moving movie about Wall Street "Masters of the Universe" (ie. Swindlers) is not only a hilarious satire but, at its core, it's an indictment of Capitalism gone wild. Leonardo DiCaprio's performance as the barker of greed and the thief of dreams is one of his most energetic in years. He is so affable in recounting his story, it almost prompts you to see him get away with it (but, not quite) DiCaprio's and company's excess in conspicuous consumption (yachts, a helicopter, a trophy wife) and use of drugs, booze and hookers would make Caligula blush. It's hard to believe this bombshell of a film was directed by a 71-year-old Martin Scorsese. He'll likely outlive us all and will be making great movies when he's 101!
