From director Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent, The Visitor) is a marvellous alternative to the big box blockbusters. McCarthy is a wizard at producing scripts which result in the creation of real people with all their flaws as well as strengths. And it doesn't hurt to have Paul Giamatti and Amy Ryan on board. I LOVE this movie!
