Interesting film... Although I tend to enjoy slow moving films, such as 'Remains of the Day' or 'The Piano', I found this film did not hold my attention throughout the film. I am trying to determine if the film was to be told in the 3rd person, where the audience is not supposed to be able to empathize with any of the characters - if so, then it was a good film. The acting was exemplary by the entire cast... the story is a sad tale. Would I pay to see it again, no... found myself checking the time during the film - not a good sign.
