Artists and Models is a so so rather convoluted feature which I did not find particularly funny. It is best known today as the first film of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and the second film of a disarmingly young Shirley MacLaine. The supporting cast, as one would expect, is pretty stellar with the likes of Dorothy Malone, Eva Gabor and Anita Ekberg who would go on to create a sensation in Fellini's 1959 La Dolce Vita. I often wonder what it would have been like to have seen the film in the VistaVision process from Paramount.
