This dramatic thriller with Richard Burton, Raquel Welch and the late Virna Lisi was never much of a film and in retrospect, it has not aged very well at all. All through the seventies, Richard Burton all but lost his reputation making one stinker after another. His career got so mired in bad films and his stage career had long since ended so that he never was knighted as Sir Richard though talents way below his were so honoured.
