    Bringing Up Baby

The grand-daddy of all screwball comedy, if I can use this phrase. A madcap heiress upsets the staid existence of a straight laced scientist. This film is so painfully funny, in the very best sense of the word. It's all too wild for words. Howard Hawks is just brilliant as the director who knew how to make every kind of film. Everybody in the cast just shine in this loved comedy. It inspired Peter Bogdonavitch to make his celebrated film "What's Up Doc? " with Babra Streisand, Ryan O'Neil and Madeleine Khan. A MUST SEE SCREWBALL COMEDY! Kate Hepburn and Cary Grant will totally delight you in the 1938 classic.
