In a month or so for one day, everyone it seems becomes green - everyone becomes Irish on St. Patrick's Day. What better way to begin to get into Irish day than see an Irish movie. What better way to do it with an Irish love story. We go back in time, when life was simpler, but also had for some a challenge of spirit and adventure, though often with tearful trepidation. Setting out from the Irish home to the new land of America - Brooklyn, New York to be precise. We follow the young lady with all the emotions of moving so far away from home. We follow her settling in, her homesickness, but then finding love. We follow her needing to go back home; then the pulls of home tug on her heart strings. Will she or will she not realize where love really lies. A very fine love story... if you like love stories as I do - Brooklyn is a must see.
