    Cell 211

Having experienced the aftermath of the 1981 riot at Ste-Anne-des plaines center as a teacher, I can verify the authenticity of the mood created. If prisons are for rehabilitation, why is it one has to lose his humanity to survive inside them? Condemned to a 1000 year sentence or losing everything you hold dearest in an insane moment makes a fertile ground for unleashed terror. It is a hard film to watch at times. The characters are frighteningly real. Luis Tosar is showing once again is exceptional talent as he did in «Even the rain». To be seen, at least once. The french dubbed version is showed is some theatres.
