Far too long. The acting by Sean Penn was fine but the whole thing lacked any form of suspense or drama... Can we all petition Hollywood to stop with the Iraq stuff? It has been done to death now.

Well... you always have a choice as to what you go and see at the theatre. If you don't like the subject matter, best stay away rather than go and then complain that you are tired of the issue presented in the movie that you just willingly paid money to see.
I agree with your comment. I went to see this movie with an open mind hoping that it would truly be an "action-suspense" thriller. Even though it is based on a true story, a director could easily have enhanced the trauma in the couple's lives as they went through the turmoil. We could have been exposed to more disturbing phone calls or aggressive citizens yelling at them or threats against the family, etc. This film did not have a single scene where I felt suspense-and certainly there was nothing thrilling. My comment about the Iraq business was intended as an aside and not reflecting my view of the movie itself. I like going to movies on a weekly basis and enjoy most types. I merely hope that if it an action/suspense movie that indeed there is action or suspense.
