Final Girl (2015) DIRECTED By Tyler Shields with Abigail Breslin & Wes Bentley. This film has a promising premise but the young actress Abigail Breslin,(Veronica) fails utterly to convey the power needed to escape her hunters in spite of the good training by Wes Bentley. So in this predictable linear story nothing feels real, it's just a fantasy like a Cinderella in Wonderland. If you want confrontations with real wolves you have to be a wolf yourself but this baby face girl doesn’t have what it takes to deliver, so all in all is just a dance in the dark where suspending belief everything seems possible. Physically she is frail, delicate like a doll and lacks the ferociousness of "Kick-Ass" (2010) with the very believable character embodied by the great Chloë Grace Moretz, a partner in action would've help bring some "realism" to this diluted fantasy. Abigail lacks character she is still an inexperienced child.

I really wouldn't go that far about Abigail Breslin! Your words seem more like a vendetta than a critique. It's overly harsh and I'm always suspicious of people with extreme things to say. It seems you might be an embodiment of Breslin as presented in the film and getting rid of frustrations by lashing out at her. Oh! It's more than probable! It's undoubtedly dead possible!
