"Focus" suffers from a lack of focus; it meanders about, pretending to be building to some kind of innovative climax but stumbles to an ending that is a major disappointment. The writers confuse the idea of an intriguing and complex plot with unbelievably dull nonsense. The acting was almost as bad as the writing, but this meaningless flick was a hopeless case that no actors could have salvaged.
