    Fried Green Tomatoes

What an absolutely, terrific film based on famed Fannie Flagg's book. When two women meet in a nursing home, a chain of events starts, leading to flashbacks of over 50 years ago. The present story mixed with the unbelievable events of the past make for one of the most delicious features ever to come out of the Studio System. Every character comes to life in a most dynamic way! And the cast! It's to die for. One scene with Cathy Bates trying to park her car will have you rollicking with laughter and cheers. I've seen this movie more than once and I plan to see it again. It's a sheer delight... everything you would want of a movie.
