    Fruitvale Station

This small independent film about a true incident to a chap named Oscar will break your heart. I wasn't aware of the incident till seeing this film. Oscar is a young black man, 20 or so, a young man who means to become more mature and loving towards all those who mean the most to him. But fate steps in one frightful night at Fruitvale Station. And as they say... the rest is history. America was shaken to its core by this horrific event and so will you. The performances are so good by all concerned. Oscar is a wonder. I will only name Octavia Spencer by name as she won the year's Best Supporting Actress Award from the National Board of Review. Her follow up movie to THE HELP was just as momentous.
