    Glory Alley

A minor musical drama with Leslie Caron as the main draw, directed by very versatile Rooul Walsh. The supporting cast is fairly well known, but this most definitely struck me as a B type movie; very strange as Leslie Carol was coming off the huge success of An American in Paris and it was probably capitalizing on her first film role in the above Oscar Winner. One had to film what was a assigned to an actor in the studio system, but I feel MGM was really stupid putting a very rising young star in a movie of no consequence. It went nowhere. Definitely a "cheapie'.
