This is a good movie. I would give it 7.75. Alia Bhatt plays the sheltered, ditsy, a little selfish and young Veera, who is kidnapped by Mahabir, played brilliantly by Randeep Hooda. She falters in a few scenes but otherwise does a good job. The director Imtiaz Ali attacks patriarchy... oh so subtly. In the end, it is a journey of finding oneself and confronting your fears. Two things stand out - the landscape and the music. This movie is worth a trek to the theatre.
