Ils

'Ils', the title of our French feature is very bizarre as that pronoun is not used grammatically correctly, but I'm sure the filmmakers were well aware of that and used it instead of the correct 'EUX' for more effect. In true horror film fashion, a couple live in an isolated home on the boundary of the usual cliché woods. They seem to be the target of "them", some outside force that wants to entrap the two. It is only O. K. as a horror genre which could have gone a lot further. Interesting to note there is an English language remake of the film involving a home invasion much more frightening and horrifying than the original French. The English version, strangely is better.
