At one point in the movie, the high school aged guy says to the middle school aged guy when describing the park " This is for kids." Pretty well sums up the movie. We have been seeing monster movies since the fifties with movies like Godzilla. Or maybe back to the 20's and 30's with movies like King Kong. Nothing much has changed except the technology to make the monsters more life like. This movie has a ho hum seen it before plot which was entirely predictable, characters you could care less about because the movie was all about special effects, and acting that really wasn't acting. If you like special effects maybe you might like this movie but who cares about them. I want a story, believable characters I care about and acting that moves me. Nothing like that in this movie. Perhaps the telling part of this movie is when you see the female star stand facing a T-Rex in stiletto heels and then she runs away from it in stiletto heels. Really?

Maybe you should watch dramas not action/adventure. These types of movies are for entertainment. Your expectations should have been to see good special effects and some excitement.
