    Kai po che!

I wasn't too optimistic when I saw the early trailers of Kai Po Che."Rock On", Abhishek's last film, was a great story let down by poor actors. (Disagree all you want but Arjun Rampal is nothing more than a model with a monotone voice.) Here, he rectifies the wrongs of his previous movie by using a cast full of brilliant actors. I'm guessing all have great training or were just born for the craft because the three main leads were perfect in their respective roles. As are the great supporting characters including Amrita Puri. It also pays to have source material from Chetan Bhagat, who has woven together a great tale of sacrifice, humanity, brotherhood and hatred. What I liked most was the reality of the central characters' friendship. They might love each other immensely, but they can also hate each other as much. The cinematography and music by Amit Trivedi also deserve special mention.
