I love this movie. It has everything a movie going experience should have. Originality, fun, fantasy, escape, and of course that the bad guy gets their just dessert. However, having said that, I am a bit tired of writers and producers making 'the mafia' (Italians) bad guys. And yes I understand the goofy element of chartoony like Soprano characters but it also sends a warped message out about a "race of people" - "sad to say that 4000 members of the mob give twenty five million hard working Italian-Americans a bad name". A direct quote from one of the Soprano episodes. To conclude, if it's a comic book fantasy, why not make the bad guy a non generic brand - perhaps?
