Unpretentious, earnest, but ultimately forgettable little movie that attempts to cash in on the recent mania for zombies movies. It's a glum experience which is enhanced by the dullness and darkness of the cinematography. The plot is undone at the outset. Wouldn't it have been more sensible on the part of Rufus to avoid a small town and head for NYC or LA where he would blend in and would have a bigger buffet table? Seems he hasn't developed wisdom in his 200 years. However, a key redeeming feature is the presence of Kim Coates who appears to be having fun with his role of vampire tracker.
