Unfortunately good actors couldn't save this waste of time and effort. In place of a reasonably intelligent, suspenseful plot and exciting "action" scenes, we got the artificial "film noir" look of bad lighting and shaky, spasmodic camera work combined with a screenplay that could have been written by any 12 year old computer gamer. Worse still is the fact that this flick could have been interesting; the "safe house" idea isn't a new one, but it is still full of possibilities. None of them were realised by this lousy pic. The producers obviously tried to make money with a "formula" movie, but all they produced was cinematic baby formula: pabulum for the mind... yuck!
