Sound of Redemption: The Frank Morgan Story

    Reviewed by

A bit of an unusual doc on a man that is not exactly a household name, alto sax extraordinaire Frank Morgan and his ups and downs in life. What is remarkable that through thick and thin, with a lot of thin, he was able to come out of it all as a man redeemed. The background of the San Quentin concert serves the doc well. Unfortunately, jazz is not my forte.
