    Southpaw

This is one of the best fight movies I have seen. Not quite "Rocky" but really close to it. Jake Gyllenhaal & Forest Whitaker are totally believable in their respective roles and Rachel McAdam as Jake's wife gave a heartfelt though short performance. The young daughter played by Rita Ora steals every scene she is in and it will be interesting to watch her career progress and I hope it will emulate the likes of Abagail Breslin. The fight scenes were very real, exciting to watch even though you are pretty sure of the outcome. I have watched most of Jake Gyllenhaal's movies including "Nightcrawler"," Prisoners" and "Source Code" which I thought were brilliant. This movie ranks with these and I will be looking forward to more of his work. Unlike most action actors, Jake likes to diversify his roles rather than repeat the same role over and over again.

RITA Ora was the drug user in the projects and not the daughter btw.

You are right... my bad... I had to find out who the daughter was by going to the official website... they did not mention her name in the credits on this website. Rita Ora had a 3 minute scene and OONA Laurence had a major role throughout the movie. She should have gotten more of a mention as a cast member though she is a child actress. I stand by my assessment of this young gril's talent and look forward to see what else she does... thanks for pointing this out to me.
