If you are already a fan of Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and the other Comedy Central performers that appear in this movie, you'll probably get a big kick out of it. Unfortunately my wife and I are not CC fans, and we found this movie only occasionally funny, mostly stupid and occasionally incomprehensible. Jokes weren't set up well, punch lines not delivered well, the story was silly most of the laughs came out of the silly behavior of the characters and a few sight gags (the teachers' lounge was a hoot) The overall look of the movie was cheap and amateurish. Definitely not recommended for non-fans... could have been _much_ better if the story and performances had been developed without depending on fan familiarity. We regarded our money as pretty much wasted. On the upside (just to be fair) many of the cameo performances from big-name actors were amusing (Sarah J. Parker esp. ), and the straight-faced performances of the young 'teenage' actors were really quite good. It didn't help that the Calgary Uptown Theatre's upstair's sound system is mediocre... some of the dialog was hard to make out.
