The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T.

This unusual film of 1953 might be part romance but it is very whimsical and delves into bouts of fantasy that didn't appeal to me in the least. It was obviously way ahead of its time; apparently it never had much success. It stars a young Hans Conreid and Tommy Retting who was the first boy to star in Television's LASSIE! The film's odd premise almost put me off from the start. Some believe the film has attained cult standing. True or not, I couldn't wait for the end.
