I enjoyed the film as a narrative structure that was used as a way of introducing some of the history and background of this very real group. I didn't worry about the fictional details, as it was based on a novel anyways, so the chronology and so on was a bit off, but overall a thoughtful and interesting introduction to the movement. They were of course misguided youth, who claimed that the government was conducting illegal genocide and war, and that corporations were taking over and destroying the planet. Such naivete sounds quaint today.
