    The Counselor

I hadn't been this excited for a movie in a while, even saw it on the Thursday it came out. You've got Ridley Scott, Cormac Mccarthy and that crazy dude from 'No Country for old Men (lol)'. It starts off slow and I mean slow. However, I'm salivating and convincing myself that it'll raise to a crescendo, still thinking that when it kicks in it'll kick. It's like the whole movie is pre-supposing that I know something which I couldn't possibly know; I'm not familiar with these characters! It's a shame cause most of the talent and performances are top notch; although I didn't necessarily need to see Michael Fassbender cry so often. It's got self important soliloques and the so called 'foreshadowing' shouldnt be THAT predictable. One of my biggest disappointments in the last few years!!! Stylish but kind of a mess :(
