A good movie to kill a bag of popcorn with. I did enjoy the first Hobbit better than this one though for the right amount of peaks and valleys. I was ok with the ending, as it was always clear that this was 2 of 3. However, I think they could have moved the last 20 minutes to the third installment, and instead, during the scene when they enter the mountain, they should have cut the screen to black and then showed from inside the cave as the door opened. Boom! That would have been gold. IMO. Anyway, still a good movie. Looking forward to the third.
