This is a good wrap up to the fourth and final movie of the Hunger Games series. Although I was never a big fan of the whole Hunger Games phenomena, I was happy to see an appropriate closure to the whole series. There is plenty of action with a dynamic plot to keep the average viewer engaged. Spoiler alert - click to reveal textHowever, I did find the part of the movie with the “mutts” disturbing and unnecessary. As I said in my review of Part 1, I found the acting in the whole Hunger Games series somewhat average and the characters hard to empathize for. In addition, a point of debate still exists if Mocking Jay Parts 1 and 2 could have been put all in one movie? Was separating Parts 1 and 2 to maximize the depth of the storytelling or simply to make more money at the box office? Or both?
