Although slow in places in order to build a misguided loyalty to the "aww poor guy" protagonist it is a so so scripted film with better than average close quarters cinematography and an unlikely relationship between Alan Turing and Joan Clark that tells one version of the type of people it took to break the decisive secret German coding machine but gave far too much credibility to Alan Turing in regards to the decisions of which information would be used and which wouldn't that would determine the outcome of the war. He was never a strategist even by his own confession and was put in to give a false extra dependency that the government relied on him for. He could barely work out the relationships with people, never mind taking on such broad spectrum decisions. Not true. A good film that confirms the mental instability of Alan Turing as he ended up taking his life in 1954 at the age of 41. Loved the authentic scenery, vehicles, clothing and speech except for the use of the word 'computer' by Alan Turing which was not coined until decades later.
