Phenomenal computer animated motion picture about the Peanuts gang that stays true to the spirit of Schulz’s beloved world famous comic strip. Being a Peanuts fan, I am very happy to see the movie kept to its roots and innocent subject matter that made it so popular. I loved seeing Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Schroeder, Woodstock, etc… and the rest of the Peanuts gang on the big screen. This movie has two separate storylines which work great around the two most well-known Peanuts characters, Charlie Brown and Snoopy. The computer animation is first rate I must say. The voice overs of the characters are surprisingly similar to the Peanuts television specials – what a remarkable feat! I was also pleased to learn that Bill Melendez’s archived recordings were used as voice overs for Snoopy and Woodstock. Just like the television specials of Peanuts, this film applauds the treasured comic strip and will make both Peanuts fans and new fans joyful and entertained. I am certain Charles Schulz, Bill Melendez, and Lee Mendelson would be extremely pleased with this movie if they were alive today. So memorable!
