Theory of Everything is a soap-opera-ish biography on the great physicist Steven Hawking, from his days as a graduate student at Cambridge to recent times. The movie had everything except a gripping story line. Like most bio-pics it went forward with good performances from all actors, and showed how Hawking overcame one difficulty after another to continue his quest for the elusive TOE. Will it get an Oscar? Definitely will be nominated in several categories. I am happy I saw it, half-expecting it to put me to sleep as many romance flicks would, but I enjoyed his brief but vital lectures on cosmology which he stated in a clear manner understandable to all.
