A brief statement to all those who wrote unbelievably bad comments on WOLF! I understand you might have a distaste in the way the film unfolded but to dismiss the entire premise as mere rubbish is totally absurd. Do you all have your heads buried in the sand? Insider trading and the selling of phoney stocks is what has led the U.S. and the world to several disasters, heightened by the enormous repression of 2008 in which millions around the world were affected... no homes, no jobs, no security... Think about this fact and then tell me that THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is a load of crap. What is wrong with some of you people? You might not like or enjoy a movie or scenes from a film, but don't shut your eyes to reality. By so doing, you contribute to the problem.

YET the film showed close to nothing of the repercussions, the "Insider trading and the selling of phoney stocks is what has led the U. S. and the world to several disasters, heightened by the enormous repression of 2008 in which millions around the world were affected... no homes, no jobs, no security..." The movie didn't show any of that it was too busy showing us sex and drugs, and if it did touch upon that, it was in the last 5 minutes of a three hour movie, long after sensible people walked out. Seriously, ask yourself if the point you just made was made by the movie as well, and if your answer is yes, then explain to me why almost every scene was dedicated to sex or drugs or the hedonistic lifestyle of one man and how this was necessary in getting the point across. I think giving credit where non is due and falling for cheap gimmicks is what "contribute(s) to the problem" of movies like this being made.
The film showed that he could do whatever he wanted. It's educational based on Jordan Belfort's like, not educational based on the stock market.
