This is Kristen Wiig's movie from start to finish. Phenomenal, honest performance. There is always a poignant truth that emerges from the depth of mental illness. She embraces each scene to perfection. The movie in and unto itself is a bit frayed around the edges as is some of the dialogue of the supporting cast. Tim Robbins seemed too stilted and unsure of how to play his role as the Psychiatrist. Joan Cusack was on over load with her constant facial tics. "There were no laughs to be had." The movie is worth seeing if you are a Wiig fan and or appreciate a complex remarkable tour de force of acting as her character spirals downward chaotically into her border line personality disorder.
